Extension of Due Date for Filing Form DPT-3

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has extended the due date for filing Form DPT-3 for the Financial Year ended on March 31, 2023. The new due date is July 31, 2023.

The extension has been granted in view of the transition of the MCA-21 Portal from Version-2 to Version-3. The transition has caused some challenges for companies, and the extension is intended to provide them with more time to comply with the filing requirements.

Form DPT-3 is a return of deposits that companies must file to furnish information about outstanding loans not treated as deposits. The form must be filed online through the MCA portal.

Companies that have already filed Form DPT-3 do not need to file again. However, companies that have not yet filed the form are encouraged to do so by the new due date of July 31, 2023.

If you have any questions about the filing of Form DPT-3, you can contact the MCA helpdesk. You can also find more information on the MCA website.

Here are some additional details about the extension:

  • The extension applies to Form DPT-3 for the Financial Year ended on March 31, 2023.
  • Companies that have already filed Form DPT-3 do not need to file again.
